: New Book Chapter on Phosphoinositides in Insulin Signaling
Several interesting review articles have recently been published in Current Topics in Microbiology regarding Phosphoinostides in Disease. Our contribution is entitled Phosphoinositides in insulin action and diabetes and is available here. There are several other excellent articles in this book, so if you are interested in this field I would encourage you to take a look. The editor, Prof. Marco Falasca did a fantastic job on this book and we are proud to be involved.

: New Publication on the Role of PIKfyve
In collaboration with several groups at the University of Michigan, PNAS has recently published our article describing a PIKfyve hypomorphic mouse and our studies into the mechanisms of PI(3,5)P2 and PI(5)P metabolism. A link to the paper is here. Congratulations to Sergey Zolov and the corresponding author Lois Weisman.
: New Article on the Regulation of TC10 by Caveolin
PLOS One has published our article on biochemistry of TC10 and its regulation by Caveolin in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. This work would not have been possible without my collaborators Irfan, Louise and Natalie. The paper is available here.
Keystone Symposia Talk
I have accepted an invitation to give a short talk at the upcoming Keystone Symposia on Inositol Signaling in Pharmacology and Disease (a joint meeting about PI3K Signaling Pathways) at the Keystone Resort in Keystone, Colorado from 2010-02-13 to 2010-02-18. The title of my short talk will be Endolysosomal Phosphatidylinositides and the Regulation of TORC1 Localization and Function.
